Area Wide Transport provides local communities throughout Michigan with professional medicaid transportation services. Whether youth riders or adults in need, our non-emergency medical transport helps provide mobility for those who need it most. And, we always strive to make their experience riding with us a comfortable and worry-free one. WE PROVIDE SERVICE FOR
Care Facilities
Area Wide Transport provides rides for most care facilities, as needed. Simply call our office line to reserve appointments with 24-48 hours advanced notice. We’ll make sure that your rider makes appointments, has mobility assistance for going on general errands, or whatever other service you need our medicaid transportation for. Contracted rates and quotes are available upon request. Types of care facilities we help include:
- Nursing Homes
- Assisted Living Facilities
- Memory Care
- And more!
School Districts
We also provide daily transport as needed for students requiring wheelchair transport or out-of-district transportation services. If your students fall under the McKinney-Vento Act, we can provide our service under this as well. We are able to transport up to 6 ambulatory students or 1 wheelchair and 3 students per route. Our drivers ensure every trip that students take is safe, comfortable, and gets them to and from school on time.
Hospitals & Medical Offices
When transportation becomes an obstacle to medical professionals seeing their patients, we can help. Our medicaid transportation strives to connect those with mobility restrictions with their care providers as smoothly and worry-free as possible. You can easily schedule with us to establish a regular pickup/drop off routine for recurring appointments. Contracted or individual rates are available simply by calling the office line.

Because Area Wide Transport always looks for opportunities to help those in need, we can also add brokers to our service area. If you need providers, please contact the office for application information.
